Spa Farm

A 45 minute scenic drive south from Hobart, this escape showcases the best of the Channel Region. Surrounded by a working farm, a beach closeby, this retreat is perfect for touring around Southern Tasmania. The outdoor heated 5 person spa with views of the surrounds is the perfect escape for those wanting to unwind. Step aside from the hustle and bustle of daily life and reconnect. There are 2 rooms within the house with 1 queen size beds and 1 king size antique 4 poster bed. The house is fully heated and includes 2 bathrooms and toilets. All house facilities, excluding back storage room with brass door lock. I'm generally not available. Middleton is a quite sea-side village 45 minutes south of Hobart. Spa Farm is ideally located 15 minutes from the Bruny Island Ferry, 10 minutes from Peppermint Bay restaurant and 20 minutes from Cygnet. Spa Farm is an ideal location to explore the famous Huon and Channel Regions. Eating and drinking: - Peppermint Bay - Woodbridge - 10 mins. Great food, beer and wine and casual atmosphere with lovely views across to Bruny Island. - Pepperberry's Garden Cafe - Birch's Bay - 5 mins. Great food and coffee along with an art gallery and nature trail. - There are a range of great food options in Cygnet - 20 min from more traditional pub-fare at 'the bottom pub' to the now vegetarian Red Velvet Lounge and award winning Cygnet Canery. - Check out Willie Smith's Cidery at Cygnet for a soothing cider of two. Walking and other activities - Snug Falls is a great short walk to a large rock pool and waterfall - 20 mins. - Hartz Peak and The Tahune Air Walk are in the heart of Southern Tasmanian wilderness. - There are a huge number of walks on Bruny Island. There are two buses and day to and from Hobart. This is a non smoking house. Please do not smoke inside.
