Private bedroom and bathroom (shared only if another guest has booked our 2nd room) in quiet community of north Wilmington just 5 minutes from I-95, A.I. DuPont Children's Hospital, Astra-Zeneca and J. P. Morgan. AN IDEAL LOCATION FOR BUSINESS PEOPLE AND TRAVELING NURSES AS DISCOUNTS ARE OFFERED FOR WEEKLY AND MONTHLY STAYS. We are 10 minutes from downtown Wilmington's business district and Amtrak/Septa train station. Complementary bottled water, and various snacks are provided in your mini room refrigerator. Keurig for coffee, tea, and hot chocolate is available in your room as well as a TV equipped with Amazon Prime Firestick. Parking in front of our home works well! We live on a extra wide road, so there is plenty of room for parking!! Our neighborhood is a nice and safe place to go for a stroll or power walk. It provides side-walks, which are important to us, for our guests safety. Also, there is a beautiful park, hiking trails, library, tennis courts, outdoor track, and basketball courts one half mile away. We enjoy socializing with our guests, if they like, and we are available by text or phone if we happen to be away. The neighborhood is very safe and is a good place to take a walk or go for a jog. Fairfax Shopping Center is only 1 mile away. It includes such restaurants as IHop, Grotto's Pizza, Panera Bread, Le Chio Asian Cuisine, Five Guys, and Hollywood Grill Diner. Other stores include Acme supermarket, Walgreens, Dress barn, M & T Bank, and Fairfax Hardware, as well as other stores. The Brandywine public library, soccer fields, a tennis court, basketball court, picnic area & children's playground are located 1/2mile away in Talley-Day Park. Alapocas Run State Park is 1.5 miles away and includes Delaware Greenways Trails and the Can-Do Park.
