The Greenhouse

Enjoy a luxury stay with all the comforts of home in this newly renovated rural retreat. Thoughtfully designed to incorporate its beautiful surroundings, The Greenhouse boasts a stunning conservatory and your own sun-filled courtyard. Situated in the gorgeous Shropshire countryside, you can wake up to birdsong before heading out to the World Heritage Site of Ironbridge, the country estates of Attingham and Weston Park, or the medieval towns of Shrewsbury and Ludlow; all within an hour's drive. All areas of The Greenhouse have been designed for a luxury stay. The living spaces feature a plant-filled conservatory and a comfortable dining space, with a table that makes an ideal desk if you need space to work from home. The kitchen has all utensils and equipment needed to cook meals at home, including a hob, oven, kettle and toaster. The compact shower room has necessary toiletries and a heated towel rail. And the stylish bedroom has a gorgeous double bed, clothes storage, reading chair and a TV/DVD player for those cosy evenings in. Both living room and bedroom have efficient, thermostatic panel heaters and the bathroom has a heated towel rail. Outside you have exclusive access to a large plant-filled courtyard (with a gorgeous blooming wisteria at the right time of year!) with a table and chairs, deckchairs for sunny days and a chiminea for chilly nights. There is also a small patio area with beautiful views over surrounding countryside. We will usually be available, but the easiest way to contact us is by text The Greenhouse is situated on the edge of Newport, a lovely market town with all the necessary shops, restaurants, pubs and takeaways for you to enjoy a relaxing stay. Shropshire is famous for its gorgeous countryside and historical towns, so just step out the door to take in the beautiful rolling hills, or drive to the Shropshire Hills AONB for a day of walking. Driving is the easiest way to reach us here at The Greenhouse, but there are frequent local buses travelling from Newport to Stafford, Telford and Shrewsbury, each of which have train stations with links across the country.
