In the summer take in the views from the deck that also has the provision of a Webber BBQ. For those cooler months the bathroom has heated floor, heated towel rail and a heated mirror to keep it steam free. Log gas effect fire adds to the cosy feel. We provide breakfast provisions for guests self preparation. A fully fitted kitchen with European appliances enables you to self cater and please yourself the entire time you are here. Our property is run as a small hobby farm and our land includes some forest providing opportunities for walks. We also grow as much fruit and veg as we can, along with ducks chickens Guinea fowl and beef cattle. Once checked in we leave you to enjoy your privacy, but live on site adjacent to the accommodation, so usually on hand if you need assistance. We expect most guests to take advantage of the privacy and peace and quiet. However, we live on site adjacent to the accommodation so either one of us is on site most of the time if you need help or assistance, or even just a chat about what we do here. We are located well off the main roads in a beautiful valley within the Macedon ranges region. Mount Macedon itself is about a 20 minute drive as well as the famous Hanging Rock. For those wishing to get out and about, the region offers a number of wineries, micro breweries and places to eat, such as Piper Street just 30mins drive as well as more local wineries and cafes. Further afield Heathcote also with its wineries and eateries is a 40minute Drive. Travel is essentially by car but although we are well off main roads we are centrally located for main road and highway routes. Melbourne airport is a 50 minute drive and for those perhaps on longer stays wishing to visit the big smoke, Melbourne is a 20min drive to a train station with a direct train another 40minutes ride from there. Goldie Views and being COVID safe- As per Vic Gov. requirements Goldie Views has COVID safe plan, follows Chief Health Officer Directions mandating staff to be fully vaccinated, and only accepts guests that are fully vaccinated.
