Great for families or groups of friends. Wi-Fi. Typical of the rural Tuscany, it lays in a silent and romantic area immersed in the fields and woods. We restored it with simplicty, and attention to details in the interiros and the garden. It retains its original unique flavor: a magic and charming country atmosphere that makes guests feel at home. Fully furnished. Hosts max 8 people with 3 big bedrooms, a big kitchen with fireplace, a living room with a sofa-bed, a very big bathroom, and a small one. Washing machine and dishwasher. Millions of stars in the night, sheeps in the fields around, fantastic sunsets and aperitif! we will welcome you, and provide you with any kind of assistance. For sure you will have unique experiences in magic and almost untouched places, for example you can reach the Etruscan archeological sites and Tomba di Ildebranda - a perfect melt of nature, beauty and archeology 10 minutes walk from home and also roman ruins in the valley. In the wild valley just down the house, along a fresh brook, if you are lucky you can see wild fawns. In the night, driving, you will probably meet porcupines, foxes, wild rabbits, boars. Wonderful middle age villages are around. They have cafè, restaurants, museum and shops; people are very calm and friendly. You can experience the authentic Italian life style here, and spend your time tasting local wine or cappuccino and exploring different things: the Jewish area in Pitigliano, a bath in the wild falls of Terme of Saturnia, a visit in the old Fortress and the caves in Sorano, the Romanic Duomo in Sovana, art expositions, and in the evenings, village fiestas with popular dances, cuisine and music. It’s near Orbetello, a nice place to visit too. It’s wonderfull going for a walk until Sovana (30 minutes), go on your left from home, on the dirt road. You will across a beautifull etruscan cave. At the end of this cave you’ll find the paved road so go on your left and go up, on your right you’ll find the etruscan necroposlis, than go up again on stairs just after the small tunnel on your right until Sovana to visit the cathedral (Il Duomo) Our neighbours, Lorello and Brunello do the mecanichal sheep milking (mungitura) once a day early in the morning. If you are curious, just ask them to show you. There is a very nice and hidden place where yoy can bathe in a fresh stream, close to home. By car or by bike. From home you go right, until the paved road, and on your left for 2.8 km until the San Martino sul Fiora sign direction on your right, after 50 mt, on your right you’ll find a little path where you can go by car until you’ll find a field. If there is a barrier on your right, leave the car and go walking. It’s about ten minutes. Otherwise, keep going by car following the tyres signs then park and go walking by the path, first on your left then go ahead until you’ll find the stream.
