Cottage 15 people, Pyrénées, France

This big house (about 15 people) is located right in the Pyrenee mountains. It's ideal for moutain lovers. It's a great place to be in the summer for cycling, trekking, visiting castles... and in winter for skiing. We don't provide sheets , pillowcases or towels. Guest must do the cleaning before to leave . The cottage Lou Chebem is in front of the tourist office, at a place called Le Pla (Donezan Valley, near Quérigut) . The Donezan is a plateau commonly called the little Québec to its altitude, its forests, its many lakes, rivers, autumn colors, the snow ... and its bears! The valley is in the Cathars land (two castles in the township) near the Catalan lands, the Capcir Valley, spa and hot springs of Ax -les- baths and St. Thomas water. Organization and capacity: The house can be rented under free and complete management for a week or a weekend. Its capacity is 15 people per week. Please note that parties and events are not allowed in this house. There is no Garden belonging to the house. Yet, it is front of the village square where there is a large garden table which is accessible to all. Guest must do the cleaning before to leave . We rely on you to leave the housing as clean as you found it at your arrival. the next gests would thank you ! If we observe that the cleaning isn't done or badly , we would take 100 euros from the bail (requested by Airbnb). Description: old village house converted into holiday cottage. - Living accommodation of 40m² with wood stove, kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, stove, lounge, - 2 bedrooms for 4 and 7 people, 3 double bedrooms, - 2 bathrooms, 3 toilets, - Blankets, pillows , dishes for 15 people , baby equipment. - We don't provide sheets , pillowcases or towels. In winter: resorts of Mijanes (3km) Puyvalador (12km) Formiguère (16km) , Angles (22km) , Font Romeu (41km) , ski touring , snowshoeing, family resort township , downhill and cross-country skiing, luge, daycare, school / ski rental , parasailing ... In summer: hiking, mountain biking, mountain bike riding, donkey or horse riding, paragliding, climbing school site, fishing, many village festivals, swimming pools, swimming in lakes. Possibility of water sports on Lake Matemale (20 km), Capcir zoo, cave Fontrabiouse, solar furnace of MontLouis , the small yellow train, hot water baths of St. Thomas, Roman churches... By road: From Toulouse by Quillan (about 2:15): A 61 motorway to Castelnaudary to Limoux D 623, D 118 to Quillan and Axat Usson-les-bains, take the D 16 which crosses the Donezan to Le Pla. From Toulouse by Ax-les-Thermes (about 2:15): A61 and A66 towards Montpellier until Foix and Tarascon. Take the N20 to Ax Les Thermes, then the D25 right for the Col de Pailhères. Down the neck to the D16 to reach Le Pla. From Perpignan (about 1:15): D 117 to 116 N Axat where to Mont-Louis, then the D 118 and D 32 to reach Quérigut, then take the D16 to Le Pla. By train: Quillan (35 km and bus) or Ax-les-Thermes (30 km by taxi, summer only), By plane: Carcassonne, Toulouse, Perpignan. The cottage is in the village center on the D16: the house in front of the Town Hall and Tourist Office. We must apply a tax of 0.65 Euros per day per person. You can pay this extra tax at your arrival. A cleaning fee is included in the rental price. However, tenants are committed to leave the accomodation broom clean (clean dishes and tidy, bins emptied, ...).
