Beautiful 3 bedroom family home is your perfect home from home. Set just outside the medieval village of Orpierre. With stunning views of the valley and the awesome cliffs of Quiquillion. For climbing enthusiasts this house is perfect, just a short walk to the village or cliffs to climb or you can enjoy walks, cycling, swimming and air sports in the surrounding villages. The house is perfect for families with children and babies with toddler bed, crib, high chair, play pen, toys and kids dvds. Our family home is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the beautiful views. We built the house ten years ago because we loved Orpierre so much and our family has grown to fit the house. With two children who holiday here the house is full of toys and games to occupy little ones when they are tired out from climbing, swimming, cycling and walking in the beautiful local area. We have many English books for adults who want to while away a few hours taking in the sun on the terrace. A wonderful place for any holiday whether with family or friends. The garage is closed to guests to store our personal effects but the laundry room is available should you need to use the washing machine. This is where all cleaning materials are stored out of reach of children. Please feel free to use them and leave the house clean to a reasonable standard. A cleaner will give the house a final clean to ensure it is up to standard for the next guests but we appreciate your consideration in treating our home with care. Just outside the village of Orpierre, our house is in a lovely residential area with a good mix of older couples, families and serious climbers. Parc Du Paradis and Les Terrasses Du Paradis make for a lovely place to stroll or jog. Ample driveway space and on road parking. Getting around on foot, by car or bike is the usual choice. We often hire a car with guests at Super U in Sisteron North -The cheapest place around. Orpierre village has all you could need for basic essentials with a grocery store/bakery, swimming pool, post office, tourist office, bar, restaurant and climbing shop. Larger scale grocery shopping can be done in Laragne-Monteglin and delicious breads and cakes bought at nearby Pont-Lagrand. I follow Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol, which was developed with expert guidance. Here are a few highlights: I sanitize high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknob I use cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies, and I wear protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination I clean each room using extensive cleaning checklists I provide extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay I comply with local laws, including any additional safety or cleaning guidelines
