A great location for which no taxi or extra transport is needed, as it is literally located 2 min walking from the Nyon train station. Nyon lies between Geneva and Lausanne (15' by train to Geneva and about 30' to Lausanne). The apartment is located on the 5th floor of a modern apartment building and enjoys spectacular views over the Alps, with the Mont Blanc right in front, lovely sunset dinners in summer! The apartment is non smoking. Everything is accessible by walking or via the train station which is right in front. There is a visitors' parking downstairs and indoor parking can be catered for. Nyon is right by the lake and located between Geneva and Lausanne. You can reach the Jura mountains by little train or head straight to the Alps for a day of mountain hiking by fast train as well (both stations are within walking distance from the flat). Alternatively you can rent a bicycle by the station and head to one of the beautiful lakeside beaches and enjoy a day by the water, swimming, sailing or doing stand-up-paddle. A weekly market takes place on Saturday mornings in the centre of town to buy your fresh produce or there are many farms in the neighbourhood from where you can buy directly. Nyon has several museums, libraries, a theatre and cinema. Geneva airport is 25min by train. Conveniently located right across the Nyon train station, bus stops and bicycle rental (2'walk).
