Beautiful Cottage in French Countryside

Traditional Breton Cottage in small, quiet hamlet. This is a lovingly restored traditional house with front gravel garden where table and chairs can be used to eat meals outside on warm evenings. There is a rear lawn with trees where a shed stores 2 bikes, a full sized table tennis table and fire pit. The property is near the medieval town of Moncontour and in close proximity to beautiful beaches. The village of Brehand is a 10 min bike ride and the town of Lamballe is a 10 min car journey. This is a small but delightful traditional cottage in a quiet hamlet. The house is ideally located just 9km from the market town of Lamballe, one of Brittany’s historic towns, famous for its National Stud. Beautiful beaches and coastal walks are easily accessible from nearby towns such as Le Val-André, Binic and Erquy. The beautiful medieval town of Dinan is only 50km away and is well worth a visit for the day. Known for its spectacular viaduct, castle and cobblestone streets, Dinan epitomizes the essence of Brittany. The cottage sleeps four comfortably, with the option of a sofa bed downstairs for two extra guests. Please note that there is no Wi-fi at the property. There is a TV that plays DVDs only. This would be a peaceful retreat for those wishing to get away from it all with family or friends. The spiral staircase may not be suitable for very young children or those with mobility issues. There is a large gravel area to the front of the house with seating for 6 people. There is a driveway which would fit one large or two small cars. There is also a large private grassed area at the rear of the property where there is a shed containing two bikes, a table tennis table and fire pit, all of which are available for guests. Also available to guests are two sun loungers. In the house, there are various games and books that guests are welcome to use. Situated in a quiet and friendly hamlet near the small village of Brehand which has a Boulanger for those wishing to buy fresh croissant in the morning, a small grocery shop for essentials. The Village can be reached by a 10 minute bike ride or car. The hamlet of Saint-Trimoel is set in beautiful countryside. An idyllic place to stay with great access to the northern coast of Brittany too. Staying in Saint-Trimoël, ais the perfect place to explore Brittany. A short drive away is the larger market town of Lambelle, here there is a rail station which is on the main Paris - Brest line should you wish to explore further. Everywhere is easily accessible by car, with parking for one large or two small vehicles on a private driveway outside the property. There are two bikes available to guests which can be used to reach the nearest village. This is a beautiful rural retreat for those looking for a peaceful getaway. Ideally located near historic market and coastal towns. This is a special, family owned cottage which has been recently renovated to offer guests a comfortable stay in the heart of Brittany.
