No.6 is a cosy two bed cottage in a quiet residential courtyard situated in the rural beauty of the small Cambridgeshire village of Fen Drayton. Comfortably decorated and furnished, you will immediately feel at home with your feet up in front of the log burner. No.6 provides the perfect base for holidaying families and friends, business travelers and well behaved furry four-pawed loved ones. No.6 has everything you’ll need for a perfect stay. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms both with double beds, award winning Emma mattresses and quality fresh linen. They share on this level a family bathroom with shower, bath and Egyptian cotton towels. Downstairs you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen / diner and separate living room. It’s the perfect place for winding down, taking it easy and having a glass of something special. You can park one car directly outside number 6, further vehicles should be parked on Church Street adjacent to College Farm Court. The cottage also has a small outside seating area – should the weather allow! Self check in using the lockbox. You will enjoy a fully independent and private space so that you can be on your own in peace, but we are close by should you need us. The village of Fen Drayton whilst rural is within easy reach of the A14 and the historic market towns of St Ives and Huntingdon. Just 10 miles from the University City of Cambridge No.6 is the perfect base to explore the local area and beyond. The village also boasts its own RSPB Nature reserve - Fen Drayton Lakes, with it’s many trails to explore, sights to be seen and walks to be taken. At the heart of Fen Drayton is the Three Tuns, our much-loved pub, less than a minute’s walk from your front door! With Lois and Francis at the helm you’ll enjoy excellent food, a range of real ales and regular events to entice you in. it has a lovely beer garden perfect for a cool gin and tonic on a hot sunny day and children and dogs on leads are welcome too! A short walk through the nature reserve will take you to the guided busway which will whisk you through lovely scenery into the heart of Cambridge.
