N° 6

A well equipped townhouse suitable for a family /couples or people working away, the house is located in the center of a medieval town in the heart of Suisse Normandie just a short walk to many shops, bars and restaurants. The nearest supermarket is 2 minutes drive. Within easy reaching distance of top rated Normandy attractions, including the Normandy landing beaches and historic places of interest. Paris is 2hrs30mins by train from Flers, the nearest ferry port is Ouistreham. From the front N°6 looks like any other townhouse with a garage, but nestled behind the garage doors facade lies a secure and well equipped private courtyard, to have a bbq and a few drinks or just to soak up the sun, the house has 3 bedrooms, bedroom 1 a double bed and a travel cot, bedroom 2 a double bed and a single daybed, in bedroom 3 the twin beds can be adapted to make a double (on request) there is a toilet on the 1st floor and another toilet separate to the family bathroom on the ground floor, the entire house has been fully renovated and tastefully decorated throughout. The coffee machine at N°6 is a nespresso and there is also a cafetière a piston, there is some tea/coffe & sugar to use on your arrival, also available are some basics which include olive oil / vinaigrette / salt & pepper. Within a few minutes walk the is a beautiful lake with picnic and play areas also very close a well equipped children’s park also there is an enclosed basket ball court and small skate park. Loading and unloading is permitted outside the garage doors of N°6 afterwards parking is available 20 metres away, parking there is free, in place on the parking are charging stations for electric cars. The private courtyard is only suitable for motorbikes and bicycles. There is a local bus service in Tinchebray along with taxis. The nearest train stations are in Vire and Flers. N° 6 has a wood burner which is a lovely and a cosy addition in the colder months for your arrival there will be one sack of logs provided ( October - May ) sacks of logs are available to buy at local supermarkets. The television has French channels on orange tv along with smart tv capabilities eg, NETFLIX /YouTube and prime tv. The outside has a sheltered area in the secure private courtyard there is garden furniture and a bbq.   ELECTRICITY CONSUMPTION: *Your comfort during your stay is important to me but please be mindful about your electricity consumption. Electricity is not free (for hosts or the planet!). Please turn off the heating when you leave N°6 & turn it off/down during the night. Mining of bitcoin or other cryptocurrency will not be tolerated. * Note that we check guests' electricity consumption before we leave a guest review. If it is clearly excessive (for example, due to round-the-clock running of excessive heating or if the guest has been mining bitcoins) I will leave a 1-star review and a very clear public comment about excessive electricity consumption…
