Lake Bunkie, On Moria Lake. A Glam-camping experience, a place for a fishing, kayaking and lake experiences. One room two bunk beds. One of of the lower beds converts to a lounge-sofa. Sleeps 4-5 adults. Hydro inside and outside power points, and lighting. Banquet seating with a table cook & eat. A fridge, heating and air-conditioning. Camping Stove & BBQ. Port-a-Potty only; This can be moved inside, guests discretion. No running water. Boat launch, is 5 min drive. Sledge access-Ice. With a total surface area of just over 2000 acres, a maximum depth of 36 feet and an average depth of 14 feet, Moira Lake is an average sized lake that is in two parts: Lower lake, the larger of the two, and Upper Lake. The Moira River feeds the lake from the top of Upper Lake, and drains at the far eastern end of Lower Lake. It is not a part of the Trent Waterway system, but is a closed lake. The river on either end is accessible for about 1 km before rocks and the dams prevent further boat travel. Fishing is rewarding: The most popular species caught here are Largemouth bass, Northern pike, and Smallmouth bass, Muskie. All seasons, ice fishing included. Bunkie space with private access to water front and dock. Owners or other occupants maybe in the main cottage. Usually this is not the case while Bunkie is used. Please communicate prior to booking. The town is 3 mins rear ride. Foodland, LCBO etc. Our lane is unpaved. A car is essential. In the winter we Plough. We are using this lane all winter. The hot tub. Is available upon request, and depends on availability. Cost is separately arranged and sent…$350 for the two nights (minimum stay)
