The Sand Castle

Absolutely uninterrupted beachfront living, a short 20 metre stroll to the unspoilt sands of Waiotahe beach, with sea views from the bedrooms and living room. A beautifully renovated holiday home, a real kiwi “bach” with a touch of class. You can surf, swim, kayak, and fish right in front of the house. Amazing sea views and sunsets. Motu Mountain bike trail and the sand dune bike trail, and bush walks are close by; Opotiki golf course and township within a 8 minute drive. Ohope beach is 20 min A good sized batch fully renovated to a high level. You have your own private foot access to the beach. The house is very close to the beach, it is built in the sand dune. You can hear the waves crashing whilst drifting off to sleep. You can burn drift wood on the beach in front of the house. Or enjoy the ambience of the place inside fireplace (firewood is provided) One master bedroom and a detached room with 2 bunks and another queen sized bed. All linen included. Both rooms have sea views. Balcony and outside paved area make for great entertaining in the evenings. There is a lot of parking space, enough for a boat. There is a hot outside shower which is great for washing off the salt and sand after swimming. Guests will have access to the entire property I live about 15 minutes away so if there are any problems I will be on hand to sort anything out. Not too many people if your looking for something more authentic. Buses go to Opotiki which is the closest town 13km away.
