Little quiet authentic renovated gem in Morvan

Small cosy and completely renovated house for two with bedroom and bathroom downstairs and living with kitchen upstairs. The house is just 25 min from the highway A6 and on the border of a village and with a few steps you are in the forrest. Lake Saint Agnan is just 15 min, Vezelay 30 min. The house is situated next to the main building, but with it own entrance and terrace, so with plenty privacy. In the village there is a epicerie with bread, bar and restaurant. Next village has more shops. In 2020/2021 we have completely stripped and renovated this small house to be a gite. With nice walls 'en pierre' and an old fire place we have brought atmosphere in this house of 40 m2. The living consists of kitchen with oven, fridge, two pits and all the necessary equipment. There is a table with chairs, comfy couch and vintage fireplace (wood is provided). Downstairs you have a double bed (160x200 cm) a walk in shower, toilet and space to put your stuff. Downstairs is nice and cool as it is build against the hill. So perfect for a good night rest. Downstairs and upstairs have electric heating. All linnen (bed, bath, kitchen) is provided. It is possible for us to put a baby bed and baby chair in the house. Animals only after consultation. The little house is cleaned after you stay (mandatory). The costs are being paid through airbnb. Parking is just outside the gate, just a few steps from the front door. We do not live permanently in France but when we are there we will welcome you with great pleasure. Otherwise you will be able to pick up the keys somewhere. We will be happy to help you around and give suggestions for hikes, activities, restaurants etc.. After your stay we or our cleaning lady will do a final check up. Saint-Leger-Vauban is a small town, but with a bar annex restaurant annex epicerie in town on walking distance. It is the hometown of Marshall Vauban, the genius behind the fortresses of for instance Besançon and Saint-Malo. Closeby (6 km) in Quarre les Tombes you will find butchers, chocolatier, small supermarket, bakery, pharmacy and other small shops and restaurants. There is a market here every Sunday morning. We are only 20 minutes away from Lac Saint Agnan, 30 minutes from Vezelay with its beautiful basilic, 25 minutes from Avallon, etc.. If you like quietness, peace, culture and nature: this is the place to be! The only way to get to us is by car... If you rent the small house, you will receive information in advance about the key and detailed directions. In the house there is an extensive information folder ready for you, with information about the house (of course) and the surroundings. We are easily accessible by e-mail or telephone. We are not always in France. After departure, the house is cleaned and the final check takes place.
