Old Apple pickers cottage

The accommodation is in a rustic apple pickers cottage approximately 40 meters from the main house. We are a small farm, 40 kilometres south of Hobart. As long as you don't mind a bit of work going on , its a great little place for a quiet retreat. We provide a light breakfast for you to have in the cottage and can provide evening meals or picnic lunches for a nominal fee. Please contact us if you need more information. The space has 2 bedrooms, 1 with 2 singles and one with a queen, a lounge, kitchenette and bathroom. Kitchnette is microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge. Bathroom is a shower and a toilet. There are farm animals, and wild animals and birds. Walks nearby. Shops and Cafes are 5km away well within easy walking or cycling distance. The cottage is all yours. The other buildings on the farm are accessible with one of us. There is always one of us onsite during your stay. More than happy to help you with your stay and holiday / rest plans. The neighbourhood is a farming area and the closest shops are about 4 -6 kilometres away. There is bus transport system which is about 2 km away. We can assist by dropping off and picking up where it is pre-arranged. We can also make arrangements for pick up and return to the airport.
