Our place is close to public transport, the airport, highways, theaters, restaurants. If you love history this is just the place. Take a step back in time at our Bed & Breakfast build in 1864 original tubs & sinks, wood floors, wood molding through out the home. Feel and live the history in this mansion modeled after Mark Twains house in Hartford CT. Charles Cheney and Mark Twain were best friends in there days here in Hartford County. East Coast Greenway runs from Maine to Florida 3000 miles. Our Inn runs right next to the Green way. We are a great resting spot for the hikers or bikers for a good nights rest and a healthy breakfast. We are minutes down the road from another famous hiking spot "Case Mountain". We are close to Manchester Community college and University Connecticut We serve a continental breakfast coffee, tea, juice, fruits, fresh baked muffins, breads, and bagels. Breakfast is set out between 7:30am and 11:00am. We want all our guest to feel at home and have a restful relaxing stay at our inn. Our house sits on what is known as the Great Lawn that the Cheney family had built 7 mansion up on the hill in the 1800s. The Cheney family earned there living from weaving fabric and is the only New England mill owners that built there homes right next to there mills that still today you can see as you walk around the lawn.
