A stay in Ca 'Mimia, in Tagliolo Monferrato (AL), is the ideal choice for the undecided on vacation. Located in the southern Piedmont, Ca 'Mimia allows, for its strategic location, to choose a different destination every day, at the seaside, in the mountains, in the countryside, or simply to stay around to enjoy the hills and vineyards of Monferrato. Few locations allow so many choices in the space of one day: ranging from historical or gastronomic routes, different sports facilities (golf, hiking, horse riding, swimming, fishing, 'hill biking') and the nearby thermal baths of Acqui Terme. From Ca 'Mimia the restless can reach, by car or by train, more or less in an hour, Genoa and the Rivieras, Turin and the nearby Alpine resorts, the lively Milan and, just around the corner, for the fanatics of the shopping, the legendary 'Outlet' of Serravalle Scrivia, or deepen the knowledge of Lower Piedmont which, with its villages, its castles, its abbeys, offers unexpected historical and architectural beauties The more sedentary people can choose between golf (Villa Carolina, which is five minutes by car, or Tassarolo, near Gavi), swimming (Castelletto D'Orba, Lerma, Acqui Terme have beautiful swimming pools and water park), walks along the streams, the exploration of the countless cellars of an area famous for its wines (not to mention the already famous restaurants). But, for those who are really lazy, we recommend you to enjoy the farmhouse, its swimming pool, in the middle of the meadow and the vineyards, abandoning yourself to the 'dolce far niente', an increasingly rare pleasure, which Cà Mimia claims to provide to her friends who, sedentary or adventurous, will always be in the evening talking with a glass of 'Dolcetto d'Ovada'. The structure has two double or twin bedrooms, and two bathrooms with an equipped kitchenette; then there is the possibility of using two extra beds in the living room. The apartment is part of our farmhouse where we usually stay, so we will be available for any kind of help or suggestion our guests may need. Since there is no public transport, you need to have your own vehicle to move around. The nearest motorway exit is in Ovada, which, like its train station, is about 10 minutes drive from our farmhouse.
