Big Sky is a modern retreat built on Eco organic principles in a beautiful natural setting, yet only minutes away from Nelson centre. The views are superb, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the location perfect for a serene relaxing time-out and/or a base for the many activities offered by the region. Welcome to our spacious, modern B&B rooms. A beautiful 13 min. drive just north of Nelson centre, Big Sky is 300 meters above sea level, with commanding views of Tasman Bay. If you want a home away from home in a location that will make your heart soar, this is it! Enjoy complete privacy, gorgeous sunsets and sunrise if you're up early. Our purpose-built B&B rooms are modern, offering uninterrupted panoramic views. Situated on a separate floor of our own modern-style eco house, the two guest rooms have their own spacious ensuite bathrooms, king size beds, private entrance and deck. Have your coffee or breakfast (included) in your room, in the breakfast area or the middle deck shared by the two guest rooms. All spaces (naturally) enjoy the view. Yoga mat available upon request. Big Sky is absolutely perfect as a base for the many activities offered by the region, well situated for daily excursions in the region. These include the Abel Tasman National Park, Marlborough Wine Country, and of course lots of excellent local walks, bike tracks, beaches, galleries, and activities. Only minutes away from Nelson centre, yet you will feel completely immersed in Nature. Access is by car only. Please note, we are 1.8 Km up a good dirt road. We are delighted that beyond the most popular two night stay, practically everybody who stays with us expresses regret at not having booked another night, if only to just sit, relax, and enjoy the view. As you travel around New Zealand you will realize that you spend a lot of time in a car. Distances are great and you probably will not see it all. Stop and enjoy.
