Vecchi Ulivi, Relax in the Nature!

Just 15 mins from the beach, the house has a fully-fitted kitchen, a bathroom, a large double bedroom, a sitting room with a double sofa bed, satellite TV, DVD player, WIFI connection, a garden overlooking a wonderful valley of olive groves There are comfortable stairs to the house; a free public parking place is just about 300 metres. The apartment has a private terrace, about 15 mq, overlooking a beautiful valley of olive groves. We do our best to make our guests feel at home. On arrival we offer them a bottle of local wine together with a taste of our home made organic extra virgin olive oil, limoncello and vegetables from our garden. We give them all the information about the lovely excursions and walks in the area. The apartment is in a quiet alley in a beautiful medieval Ligurian village. It is just a few minutes from the parish church, from the oratory, from the ethnographic-archeological museum and the local shop. Pietrabruna is a lively village, there are two bars, one of which is also a pizzeria and restaurant. This is called "La Colombiera" where you can have a pizza or try a local dish, drink a good glass of wine or of draft beer. In the summer the local association Pro Loco organises concerts, festivals and hikes. There is a public parking place 300 metres from the house. There is a bus service from the village to San Lorenzo al mare and to Imperia. Our guests may rent a car, advisable choice, from the nearest airports of Nice and Genoa, otherwise they may take the train and then a bus to the village. To get to the apartment from Nice or Genoa airports : exit the motorway A10 Genova-Ventimiglia at "Imperia Ovest". Take the via Aurelia N.1, drive direction Sanremo for about 4 Km; at S. Lorenzo al mare, before entering the village, turn right into Via Pietrabruna, following the direction Pietrabruna and proceed for 9 Km. When you get to the village sign continue for about 250 m. At the first big turn take the little road departing from the bend, direction Boscomare proceed for about 200 m. When you get to a green metal container turn right into another little road and proceed as far as a parking place. Park your car there and walk for about 100 metres as far as the end of the road. Take the stairs on the left and then the first alley on the left Via Gaudio . The apartment is at n. 5 B. The area is still little known; there are beautiful excursions and in less than two hours you may get to the top of a mountain and yet have a breathtaking view of the sea. A must is the new cycle path from San Lorenzo al mare to Sanremo. You may rent a bike there or use ours for free.
