Luxury camping farm stay. New Yurt Style tent! This is our larger listing that offers you a stay in our beautiful yurt style tent. This site is rustic, off grid and situated just inside a wooded path for privacy but close to a dirt road and it is our closest listing to the farm house! Although you are a stones throw away from the farm you will not be bothered by any noise from farm activity. Great for your self catering get away. There is wifi in the kitchenette but not the tents We have outfitted your tent with a Queen futon bed and a few tables, chairs and storage items. We do have air mattresses available for more guest! All tents are rustic and completely off grid, we do supply some lighting. Each spot offers a secluded propane shower. There are two porta johns for communal toilets placed close to tents. We offer a self serve breakfast nook which we stock each morning with fresh goodies. Each tent will be outfitted with a grill and necessary cooking utensils. Each rustic camp site is set away from it all in or around our woods which surround our farm. Each site will offer you complete privacy from other campers and our farm family yet you may bump into folks on the blueberry road, hiking trails or at the porta john, we are aiming to give you your own space to explore and relax. Our farm is a working farm that is close enough to walk to but far enough not to be bothered by the activity of farm life. We hope you will take some time to visit the animals, sit in the butterfly garden or observe activity of farm life while you take advantage of our complementary breakfast spot in the front of our barn. Here you will be able to enjoy muffins, coffee or tea, use cooking space for our farm fresh eggs, cheese and milk which we happily share with you. Space for plugging in laptop and recharge your mobile devices! Our farm also operates a farm store where you can pick up additional provisions such as milk, eggs, cheese, pasture raised meats, jams, soaps, lotions and more! And a short drive will get you to Sandy River Beach in Jonesport and access to the charming fishing villages of Jonesport, Beals Island and Great Wass Island which is also a well known hiking destination.. All of this and so much more at your finger tips to explore! Due to extreme dry conditions we do not allow fires at this time. Augh. Corona virus! What to do? We are taking steps to keep everyone safe and healthy! We won't be accepting reservations until mid June, we will block off 2 days after guests leave a tent. One day, 24 hours minimum to air out and another day to strip sheets and wash them and sanitize all surfaces. While we are working in the tents or our daily porta john clean up we will be wearing a mask and gloves.. We are still working on achieving the highest sanitation for our self serve breakfast nook/food prep area. So. All of this on the coast of Maine minutes away from beautiful beaches, state parks and glorious hiking! 10 minute drive Sandy River beach, Jonesport 20 minute drive Great Wass Island Preserve or Roque Bluffs State Park 30 minute drive Jasper Beach Machiasport 40 Minute Acadia State Park -Winter Harbor 1 + hour drive Bar Harbor MDI, Eastport, Lubec or Canada! We are mostly available for chats, directions or more as we live and work on the farm. In Jonesboro on part of the Bold Coast Scenic Byway. In town there is a small seasonal eatery which also sells some provisions. Jonesport Pizza is a short drive away as well as many take out spots for all your local and traditional take out needs. Free music nights! Thursday night concert series in Machias 5-7 at the Bad Little Falls park and Friday night in Milbridge @ 6:30 . The Milbridge Theatre Outdoor Stage is now located on the beautiful waterfront of the Milbridge Town Marina (Bayview Rd. in Milbridge) Lots of fun for the family!
