Harris's Mountain Escape

Our spacious Guest Cottage is located in a quiet mountain setting with a spectacular view of Black Butte & Eddy Mountain range. ( 7 miles from downtown). Surrounded by beautiful trees in a quiet neighborhood where you may see deer, quail, squirrels and rabbits passing in the neighborhood. All the lots are on 2.5 acres and it is a great neighborhood for walking or jogging. Interaction with host is at your discretion. We look forward to hosting you. We feel we have made our Guest Cottage inviting and comfortable and want our guests to feel relaxed during their stay. We offer Direct TV, many DVD's to view, books to read and games to play. There is a variety of coffees, teas and hot chocolate for your enjoyment. As well as popcorn, oatmeal, breakfast bars. We are taking extra care to disinfect our space due to COVID-19 using an UV disinfection lamp and following AirBnB’s cleaning protocol. Ed and I love people, we are available to socialize if you care to. In the cooler weather we can build a bonfire for us to all sit around and visit. We have a large covered patio for summer socializing. Our neighborhood is quiet and friendly. We are all on 2.5 acres, so the neighbors are not close by. We love living here. We have a beautiful view of Black Butte on the East and Mount Eddy on the West. We are only 7 minutes from downtown Mount Shasta, 20 minutes from McCloud, 20 min from Dunsmuir and an hour south of Ashland. We feel we are in a great location and have easy access to places by hopping on I-5 Our only mode of transportation around here is either on a bike, motorcycle or car. World class fly fishing minutes away. Shasta Lake - 45 min south McCloud Reservoir (boating, fishing, kayaking & swimming) 30 min Lake Siskiyou 20 min (boating, kayaking, fishing, swimming, etc) During the winter months besides skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling we have an open ice skating rink located downtown Mt Shasta. On the 4th of July we have over 4,000 people, from all over, attend our annual walk/run event.
