A peaceful country getaway in our garden setting

Situated at the rear of our private home and separated from the main house in a lovely garden setting is this one bedroom self-contained cottage. In the township of Buninyong, 11 km south of Ballarat. We are walking distance to our local Hotel, Supermarket, Chemist and Bakery or the many Cafes the town has to offer. This cottage is the perfect location for couples, singles or young families. You will be able to enjoy the country and all within walking distance of our lovely village. Take in the many walks that the area has to offer and enjoy our great local golf course, tennis or bike riding (mountain or road cycling). Buninyong has been home to the Australian Road Racing championships where you could take on the challenging 12 km circuit including the Mt Buninyong 'King of the Mountain'. It is only a 10-minute drive into Ballarat to visit tourist areas, such as; Sovereign Hill, Ballarat Wildlife park, Lake Wendouree and the many historic buildings of Ballarat. The one bedroom cottage is a lovely getaway for couples and contains a queen size bed, sofa lounge, eating area and a galley style kitchen. Should you require another bed, we can set up the comfortable pull out sofa bed in the sitting room, which converts to a queen size bed. If this sofa bed is required, there is an EXTRA charge for this service of $40 per booking (this fee can be arranged with your hosts at the time of booking). Out kitchenette includes; a toaster, kettle, microwave oven, bar fridge, sandwich maker, coffee machine, induction hot plate and electric bbq plus more. Enjoy the free Wi-Fi and flat screen TV, high quality linen supplied and towels are all included in your rental. We have off street parking for our guests and whilst all facilities are within walking distance, we also are lucky to have the local bus service at the end of the street that will take you directly into the City of Ballarat via Federation University. We live at the property and will be available for any needs as they may arise. Our Village is within easy walk of the Cottage and a local bus can be caught at the end of our street (to take you directly into Ballarat via Federation University). Off street parking is available on our property. Please note that there is an EXTRA charge of $40 for each stay should you require the extra QS sofa bed to be made up for you. This extra fee can be arranged with the hosts when you make your booking. DUE TO CURRENT VICTORIAN LEGISLATION, GUESTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO QR code INTO OUR COTTAGE AND GUESTS VACCINATION STATUS WILL BE REQUIRED TO BE SUPPLIED. Your hosts have both been fully vaccinated.
