Wake up to a spectacular view of the Menai Straits. It's a great base to explore North Wales being central to Caernarfon, Bangor, Snowdonia and Anglesey. Located in the heart of the village of Y Felinheli, it's just a minutes walk down to the waterfront and the popular Garddfon Bistro / Inn. Suitable for both couples and families. Can sleep six with either 3 double beds or 2 doubles and 2 single beds. The accommodation is over three floors, it’s really quite spacious! The lower ground floor has an open plan kitchen dining living room with a wood burner and bifold doors that open out onto a paved patio garden. There’s a downstairs toilet here too. The first floor has an additional sitting room with views of the Menai Straits and over to Anglesey. This floor has a double bedroom (European size) with feature port holes. The second floor has a double bedroom with a spectacular view of the Menai Straits to wake up to. The king size bedroom is also on this floor, the bed can be split and set up as two singles if required. This bedroom has blackout curtains, perfect for little people! The family bathroom is located on this floor with a lovely deep tub and a shower over. Outside there is a lockable wooden shed, suitable for storing bikes or outdoor equipment. In the summer months outside dining furniture will be available. Please request use of the shed. Available to contact by email or mobile throughout your stay. Y Felinheli, formerly known as Port Dinorwic, is a picturesque village on the banks of the Menai Street. The property is just a minutes walk from the waterfront and Garddfon Inn/Bistro where you are sure to have a warm welcome. The bistro is really family friendly too. There is much to explore with numerous walks and cycle tracks from the village. There is also the marina, a few restaurants and pubs, a chinese take away and convenience store. Alternatively Menai Bridge which is renowned for its restaurants is only a 5 mins drive away. There is an endless list of places to visit and outdoor activities to do in North Wales and our house is centrally located for exploring. The beautiful beaches of Anglesey, the Snowdonia mountain range, the Royal Town of Caernarfon and even the Lleyn Peninsula are easily accessible. Good regular public bus service to Caernarfon and Bangor from Y Felinheli. Roadside parking and free parking bays located on Beach Road.
