Our place is the best of two worlds, offering you the wonderful peace and quiet of our harbourside property and being only 15 minutes from the city. Perfect for relaxing after a busy day sight seeing. Great walkways and fabulous views of the city We have two double rooms available, with Queen size beds, electric blankets, quality sheets and towels. People have said how well they sleep because of the lovely quiet location. Guests have their own bathroom and separate toilet. The lounge, dining room and decks all have expansive 180 degree views of the city and harbour and our guests are welcome to make use of all these areas. A breakfast with homemade muesli, fresh seasonal fruit , yogurt, breads, spreads, orange juice, Espresso coffee or tea is provided. Guests may also make use of the kitchen and laundry facilities. You will be given a key for own easy access. We enjoy sharing the beauty of where we live with visitors from other countries and are happy to help you in planning what to do in NZ. We very much enjoy meeting people from all over and love to catch up at the end of day with a glass of NZ wine. A large lawn and garden, lead to expansive beach reserve and walkways. There no roads to cross, just follow the garden to the bottom. There is also a kayak available for guests to use. Motorway access is good from here and it is 15 minutes to downtown Auckland by car. Buses leave for the city regularly and it is only a 2 minute walk to the bus stop. Sights within a half hour drive are West Coast Beaches, including gannet colony at Muriwai Bush tracks and hikes in Waitakere Ranges Auckland Zoo and Museum of Transport and Technology (only a few minutes) Museum, Domain, Art Gallery, Botanic Gardens Auckland City and all it's dining and entertainment attractions only 12minute drive. Thai and Indian Restaurants, Tapas bar and restaurant, Subway, supermarket, kebabs, takeaways within walking distance.
