One of the original Kiwi Bachs built on Lake Rotoiti this newly renovated 1930's Villa has all the comforts of home with a touch of luxury making for an indulgent weekend away, family holiday or fishing trip. With a large feature timber dining table and covered deck outside, this space is perfect for entertaining outdoors whatever the weather whilst taking in the stunning sunsets and watching the activity on the lake. The kitchen contains a large fridge/freezer, microwave, oven and stove, and tea and coffee facilities. The stylish kitchen bar seating four provides an indoor dining space. The comfortable leather lounge suite is the perfect place to relax whilst watching the lake just a stone's throw away. The bedding consists of one King size bed, one King Single and a trundler Single that goes underneath the King Single. The two single beds can combine into an additional King size bed on request, comfortably accommodating two couples. A Double Air mattress is also available on request. Free use of Kayaks and Dinghy allows you to explore the lake at your leisure. (Lifejackets available) The BBQ completes the outdoor amenities along with the convenience of a private boat ramp and jetty which can accommodate several boats. Parking space available for boat trailers. Fish gutting station and freezers also available for fishermen. Relax in style and comfort in this tranquil setting. You really cant get any closer to the lakes edge than this. Guest Access includes all downstairs areas, boat ramp, Jetty for mooring boats, lawns, car parks, Dinghy, Kayaks, BBQ. The upstairs is a private residence. Your host Grayson lives upstairs, downstairs is completely private with external stairs and locked door on the internal stairs. Privacy and personal space is respected but am happy to answer any questions or provide information on activities etc either by phone or a knock on the door. Okere Falls is in a handy location 20 minutes from Rotorua. With lots of unique homes nestled along the edges of Lake Rotoiti and the Kaituna River the area has a charm that will make you fall in love. The waterfalls and bushwalks are a two minute drive away and several historical sites can be found here too. Great coffee is also just a leisurely stroll away at the Okere Falls Store. Lake Rotoiti offers lots of activities most notably the Manupirua Hot Springs however you need a boat to get to these places, the lake is also very popular for water sports.
