Chalet Nernier, Geneva lake area

Nernier is a small fishing village situated in France by the lake Leman, just 24 kms from Geneva (Switzerland). Our summer house is a 5 minute walk from the village. There is a spacious living/dining room with an open kitchen and all what you need to make your stay comfortable. Two bedrooms each with a small closet, a shower room and a separate toilet. Linen, blankets and towels are provided. There is a big garden in the front of the property as well as in the back and plenty of outdoor furniture. We also have a BBQ. You can find many sports activities in and around Nernier, such as swimming, sailing, water-skiing, fishing, golf, hiking, horse-back riding, etc., and also cultural (Museums, concerts and festivals in July and August, etc.). The property is gated and safe for small children. In the village you can find a few restaurants, snacks and bars. Check-in time: 2 pm Check-out: 10 am Upon your arrival, either my wife or myself will be at the property in order to welcome your party. Our main residence is in Geneva, so we are never too far. We can be reached, at all times, on our cell phones. This is not a big city, but an authentic small fishing village by the shores of Lake Leman (Website hidden by Airbnb) Ideal for couples, families who wish to spend peaceful holidays in the countryside. Yet very close to big towns and cities. One can easily drive to Geneva, Thonon, Evian or take the boat to Nyon, Lausanne and Evian. The only public transport in Nernier is the boat with short cruises to Yvoire, Thonon, Nyon or longer cruises to Lausanne and Montreux. A car is recommended if you want to discover the region. Bicycles are available at the chalet. There are no shops in Nernier. Groceries can be purchased in Messery, a village just 1 km away from the property. You can either drive, ride or walk to Messery where you will find a grocery shop, a pharmacy, two bakeries, a pizzeria, a post office, a doctor and a dentist.
