Bliss Cottage is an Adults only cottage located in the beautiful town of Creswick. The town is 1 hour and 20 minutes from Melbourne CBD and a short 20 or so minutes drive to either Daylesford and Ballarat. The cottage is located in a tranquil quiet location located at the end of a tree lined driveway. We are pet friendly with a fully fenced (1 metre high) back and front yard, so your pooches or feline friends are very welcome. (Maximum of 2 pets) * LOCATION: Bliss is located in a beautiful town of Creswick 1 hour and 20 minutes from Melbourne CBD and a short 20 minute drive to either Daylesford and Ballarat. * PLACED: Tranquil quiet location located at the end of a tree lined driveway. * SPACE: Relaxing retreat for you and your friends or family. * PET FRIENDLY: Yes, we are pet friendly so your pooch and or well travelled cat are welcome up to a maximum of 2 pets. There is an enclosed back yard overlooking the lovely reserve and trees (please note the fence is only 1 metre high and therefore not suitable to dogs that like to jump lower fences - please refer to the pictures of the back yard / fence area) * ROOMS: 2 bedrooms both with premium queen size beds, electric blankets, heating, as well as ceiling fans. * LOUNGE: There is a comfortable premium 2 and a half seater couch plus a chair facing the TV. The wood heater makes for nice cozy nights and lazy days by the fire, watching your favourite shows on live TV or Netflix. * ENTERTAINMENT: Large 55" smart TV, Netflix, and a range of DVD's to choose from. Unlimited free Wi-Fi is also included. * BATHROOM: Modern bathroom with shower and separate bath for you to enjoy and relax and a range of complimentary toiletries including Pharmacopia Shampoo, Conditioner and Body Balm, as well as Thank you soap and body wash. * KITCHEN: In the kitchen you will find there is enough room to prepare a meal for family & friends with all the modern essentials including large family size double fridge, microwave, Nespresso pod coffee machine, Russell Hobbs toaster & kettle. * DINING: There is a dining table to sit up to 6 people as well as extra outdoor chairs if required. * LAUNDRY: In the laundry there is a 9 kilo front loader washing machine and dryer for your use free of charge. * OUTDOORS: In the backyard there is a outdoor setting located under the lovely festoon lighting and a nice peaceful view overlooking the trees and quiet reserve. Guests have access to a fully fenced (1 metre high) front and seperate backyard area. Both areas overlook beautiful treed spaces and the reserve at the back of the property which combines the best of european and australian trees. Watch for kangaroos and wallabies that frequent area as well as a great assortment of colourful native birdlife. I am always just a phone call away Creswick is a gorgeous historic goldfields town that has many original buildings back to the 1860s. The town was the birthplace of the famous Lindsay family as well as the start of Victoria's first school of forestry. As a result, the town is surrounded by wonderful hiking and biking tracks through a variety of forest settings. There are 3 wonderful lakes in the town, all of then easily accessible which provide great picnic opportunities. To top it off most of the nearby attractions are only a 10 to 20 minute walk away from the cottage or an easy 5 minutes drive. Creswick has a bus service that goes from Ballarat central Station to Creswick and some of the services continue to Daylesford. The main way to get to Creswick and explore the area is by car or for the more energetic, by leisurely walks or by bike. Importantly Bliss Creswick is only a ten minute walk into town or a 2 minute drive.
