The Hinton Chapel
Beautifully renovated chapel est 1856. Previously the Church of England Hinton Church, which was decommissioned and became a permanent residence in 1998. The Heritage Listed chapel was established in 1856. The Chapel is a 2klm drive from Historic Morpeth Town Centre, a 5 min stroll to the Victoria Hotel where you can dine and enjoy a beverage or use the newly appointed function barn facility. The Chapel is very spacious with a fully appointed kitchen, 2 bathrooms, large lounge room dining and two bedrooms. The grounds include outdoor dining area and undercover bbq facility, magnificent fig tree providing amazing photo opportunities and ample shade. A huge fire pit and wood is provided for the cooler evenings. For more than 4 guests you automatically upgrade to The Chapel and The Manse. The separate studio "The Manse" provides a bedroom with queen bed, lounge room with sofa bed, generous bathroom and kitchenette, 3 seperate outdoor seating areas. The Manse will attract a per person extra cost for more than 4 guests otherwise the standard rate will apply for under 5 guests for just the use of the chapel and grounds. There is plenty of on street free parking and parking within the gated property for 2-3 vehicles. Whilst we are predominantly offering short term accomodation, you may wish to use the property for photo opportunities elopements or intimate gatherings. All events outside of accommodation need to be discussed and approved. We do not provide catering facilities however are happy to assist with referring local business who may be able to assist. Please be mindful this is a very quiet neighborhood, and an historic building of significant importance and architectural features and parties and large gatherings will not be tolerated.
