This country retreat brings you close to nature for the most relaxing holiday, with wildlife all around to admire and enjoy day or night. Just to sit in such peaceful surroundings is a joy that only a few can truly behold. As the seasons pass by, each one brings a new event to absorb and enjoy. Aside from the simple pleasures, we seem to have lost touch with, there are local markets bustling with life and smells of delicous fresh produce, or a short trip to the sea air, quiet beaches ,memories. Hosted by Tracy and Kieran, this country house is perfect for a great family holiday. Close to many attractions in the Cotes D,Armor region, famous for beautiful secluded beaches, busy sea side resorts and ancient medieval towns, supporting bustling markets, but perfect for the peace and tranquillity of the country side for those walks or cycle rides or just to sit and relax. We , the hosts are situated in the village and will be there to help if required. Popular Jugon Les Lacs is within 5km distance with lake sports, fishing ,boating, swimming pool, bistro bar. the main square supports bars, restaurants , butchers, bakers and supermarket nearby. The Festilacs event of open air music takes place throughout July and August. Dinan is 11km away with medieval streets and market square and popular portside bars and restaurants. The coast is within easy reach with popular resorts of St malo, Dinard, St Cast. Val Andre. Erquy etc. Everything you need within easy distance but situated in quiet countryside for walking, cycling or just relaxing. For the fishermen , the lake at jugon 5km away holds plenty of room for fishing almost from your vehicle for huge carp, pike, zander, bream, roach and perch up to enormous size as well as many other lakes and rivers in close proximity. Permits available in Jugon. No public transport available. A vehicle is required . The property is situated on the road side making it easily accessible. The road itself has only infrequent traffic and so is generally quiet, but during harvest time does get some agricultural use. Small children and large children as well are often fascinated by farm vehicles, parents should be aware. The rear garden/orchard is well away from the road side so parents with small children may choose to enjoy family time relaxing there. The village consists of 9 houses spead out over 0.5 km so is very peaceful. we would appreciate noise levels to be kept to a minimum after 11pm for the comfort and respect of our elderly neighbours so everyone can enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the village. There is ample room in the rear garden for ball games etc away from the road and houses.
