CORNISH HOLIDAYS AT LAMBURN Nestled in the countryside a stone's throw from Perranporth, in the grounds of a Grade II listed chocolate-box thatched cottage, holidays at Lamburn are the quintessential laid-back Cornish coastal escape. A truly tranquil and unique setting, Lamburn is a haven for those seeking a family friendly retreat, couples getaway or time together with friends by the sea. Entering the Lodge through the bifold doors into the open plan living and dining area, you will be met with a striking wooden vaulted ceiling , skylights and a feature wood burner. The living area is complete with a three-seater sofa and two armchairs creating the perfect atmosphere for connecting with loved ones. The kitchen is fully equipped for a self catered holiday and both inside and outside dining areas are provided. The first bedroom includes a king sized bed and ensuite bathroom with walk in rain shower. The second bedroom can be laid out as either two twin beds or a king bed; the ensuite has a bath with over-bath shower. The Lodge at Lamburn is accessed via a private gated driveway, with space for two cars. The pebbled driveway leads up to a gated entrance to the Lodge's private garden. Follow the path to the decked entrance to the Lodge, where you will find an outdoor seating area and BBQ station, perfect for late sunny afternoons. The deck leads into the Lodge via bifold doors, which can be left open on long summer days to create easy indoor outdoor living. Dogs have a fully enclosed garden to roam. Set in the countryside down a quiet private road next to a dairy farm, our garden backs on to a field of friendly cows. Our road is set just off the A3075 which means you can easily get to anywhere on the North Coast. - 10 minute drive to Perranporth beach. - 10 minute walk to Zucchini Italian Restaurant (footpaths). - 30 minute walk to the Bolingey Inn pub (footpaths). - 15 minute drive to Truro. The Lodge is the perfect base for walkers with the network of footpaths leading from the property. Up to two well behaved dogs are welcome, with an additional charge of £10 per night per dog. This fee is not factored in my Airbnb so is chargeable separately, in advance of arrival.
