You are perfectly placed for all kinds of activities in the nature surrounding. The rooms are antique style offering cosy atmosphere, privacy as well as luxurious accommodations. We can if requested beforehand provide delicious Icelandic breakfast for 19 Euros extra per pers. We have Free parking, wifi and a Sauna. 15 min. drive to RVK centrum. Pickup from the airport for 83 Euros. The room is small and cosy with two beds, whereas one has electrical adjustment, both share one bed table, hanger, drawers and one chair, towels for both guests. Our rooms are antique style with cosy atmosphere. We can also provide a crib for babies. The green room shares one bathroom with shower and sauna with other two rooms that are available for rent as well. If you want you can book the whole basement at another listing named "BB8 Basement for families". The rooms share breakfast room/hall in the middle, where guests can access tableware available for guests. A small fridge, microwave and a water / tea kettle. All rooms share one bathroom with shower and sauna. Please send request regarding preferences in breakfast wishes (bread, cereal, eggs, coffee, tea and other similar choices) if you would want to have that option for 20 Euros per pers. There is free WiFi in all the rooms, as well as hangers for clothes. The guest enter into the middle floor in our 3 floor apartment home. The rooms are on the 1st floor (partly below ground level) and the stairway is right after you come into the apartment. The 1st floor rooms share one bathroom with a shower, sauna, hand sink and a toilet. In front of the bathroom there is a cosy seating area, with desk and tourist brochures.If asked, the kitchen is on middle floor and available if not in use by us. There is a barbeque grill available in the garden, entered through our living room area. We are always ready to assist or chat about your trip and your wishes. We love our country and the nature, and we know a lot about interesting places and possibilities. We love to make our guests feel at home and welcome. Feel free to ask, if you have any requests or thoughts, and we will try to accommodate your wishes if possible. The natural surrounding offers a box of chocolate choices for everyone. May it be the walk down to the shore or light hike up Úlfársfell to see Reykjavik from above, it is only within 15 minutes walk. On the way you can swim in one of two swimming pools in the neighbourhood, or play golf at the golf course by the shore. The best bakery is only 10 minutes walk from the house with a coffee house and in the same house a great restaurant, a sports bar for light evening meals if needed. You are perfectly situated if you plan day trips to the west - Borgarnes, Akranes, Stykkishólmur and the south east coast, Þingvellir, Gullfoss, Geysir and many more places surrounding. There is a free parking outside the house. The bus ( Nr 15) stops just beside the house and within 30 minutes you are in the Reykjavik center area, and the bus goes straight through the center of Reykjavik down to the coast on the south site. You should be able to reach a large part of the flora of the offerings and interesting places in Reykjavik stepping out of the bus on the way. With only one crossing and changing bus, you are able to reach everywhere within greater Reykjavik area within 1 hour. It is also easy to get a taxi, usually takes just minutes for a car to arrive. You are only 15 minutes by car down to Reykjavik Centrum. We rent out GPS for our guests for 18 euros a day and can pick up and drive to the airport if requested for 80 Euros. We own a dog with the name NALA. She is of the Coton de Tuléar breed. It has a medium-to-long, fluffy, cotton-like coat that is considered hair rather than fur. It is a non-shedding breed with low dander and is considered hypoallergenic. She is therefore not likely to create allergic reactions. She is small, barks seldom and really happy dog and friendly. We own a cat, which is called Skuggi (Shadow). He bears the name rightfully, as he usually goes about as he pleases, and is not much for imposing himself onto people. He usually goes away when strangers try to pet him, and is both quiet and clean. Many of our friends, that are allergic to cats, have not been affected by staying, even overnight. Skuggi is not allowed to the guest rooms when not in use by guests. Both animals are rarely if any time inside the rooms where the guest sleep. Only to check out if allowed by the guest for few minutes.
