High speed wifi, child and pet friendly apartment
Our home from home one-bed apartment is right by the village square in this medieval village, surrounded by the most astonishing views. The pool is a one minute wander away through cobbled, car-free streets and the sea is a 20 min drive Welcome to Italy’s Colletta di Castelbianco: a 13th century village with everything the 21st century visitor could desire. This unique community, 20 minutes from the lively riviera towns of Alassio and Albenga, in the stunning Maritime Alps of Liguria, has a wonderful seasonal osteria, shared swimming pool and sauna. Our apartment is in the heart of Colletta. Over a glass of local wine on the shared terrace expect to mix with locals and visitors from around the world. Here, you are within walking distance of the famous rock climbing area of Castelbianco and half an hour from Finale Ligure. Please note the bar/osteria is now closed. The beautifully decorated one-bedroom apartment sleeps four. It has a modern kitchen, with full oven, two-ring hob and fridge and dining area for four. The white-washed living room includes a double sofa-bed, a flat screen TV/DVD player (this isn't hooked up to satellite). A hand-crafted desk area is perfect for laptops and the apartment has wireless connection to high-speed broadband. The terrace features magnificent views of Peso Grande, the 1023m mountain opposite the village. There is a more private porch area for enjoying breakfast and morning coffee. We live in London, but we have a cleaning lady and village caretaker who are local. We are available on email and phone I love the views which haven't change in hundreds of years and the car free streets which make the village so peaceful and unique. In contrast, there's the bustle of the seaside towns and beaches, which we visit with our 12-year-old and 9-year-old. Our days are spent wild swimming in the local rivers, hiking the mountains and lounging by the pool deciding which of the fabulous local restaurants to choose for dinner. You need to hire a car to make the most of your stay and explore the wonderful area Due to the ancient cobbled streets and many steps, this village is inaccessible for wheelchair uses and those who have trouble walking.
