Breezy seaside apartment

Our sun filled 2 bedroom apartment is located in Monterey, just south of Brighton Le Sands. With beach access across the road and restaurants, cafes and shops in walking distance our home could be your perfect summer holiday getaway. Relax on the wrap around balcony and watch the wild birds or have a BBQ using our Weber. Play boardgames, read a book or use the smart TV to chill out indoors. We furnished the place with comfort and style in mind and hope you’ll feel as at home as we do. You have our entire place all to yourself while we are working interstate for the short term. We hope the fact that this is a real home makes you feel extra cozy and you’ll appreciate the high quality furnishing and finishes. The sun drenched apartment has a loft like feel to it, thanks to the wrap around balcony that features floor to (almost) ceiling glass doors. It offers: - Two bedrooms (the main with a king size bed!) both with ceiling fans so you don’t get too hot in the warmer months and both blinds and curtains to make sure you can relax - living and dining space incl. aircon, a massive 60” smart TV, a view into the leafy outdoors and a table that can seat up to six people so you can enjoy meals or a game night - the blue oasis aka the bathroom incl. a shower and a bathtub, lots of candles and bath salts so you can switch off and chill - a newly renovated kitchen with all appliances and an induction cook top, a massive fridge and freezer (but don’t forget, our handbook tells you where to eat out our get takeaway from 😉) - a laundry room with a washing machine and drying racks - a generous balcony incl. a Weber BBQ, a small table and chairs to enjoy a meal outdoors and a variety of potted plants Our home is our sanctuary and we hope you love staying here as much as we do. Please don’t be discouraged by the hallway, we are in the middle of getting quotes together to give the carpet and the walls a facelift. As soon as you open the apartment door, you’ll forget all about that - we sure do! You have access to the entire apartment and we have a washing machine so you don’t need to go to the laundromat (even though you could walk to it) There is an outdoor gym across the road and a children’s playground too. The ocean is our pool, it’s literally across the street from us! We are not staying in the property, you have it all to yourself. Will be available via the app or on the phone for any questions. Our home is located in Monterey, across the road from the beach! The neighbourhood isn’t as busy as Bondi or Coogee but you’ll find amazing eateries, friendly locals and lots of activities! It’s really flat here and there is a walkway / cycle path next to the beach that you can follow from Sans Souci all the way up to Brighton Le Sands. The area is famous for its kite surfers ; you can try the sport yourself or watch in awe as they weave around the waves. There is also a sailing school in Sans Souci, you can walk there leisurely in (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) minutes along the board walk next to the beach or take a bus from just outside the apartment. There are lots of gyms around but also free outdoor gym facilities along the beach and one right across from the apartment. You could even try out shooting with a bow and arrow in the park, you can walk there in 15 minutes. There is an amazing market every Saturday at Ramsgate, only a (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) minute walk from the apartment. We get the best fruit and veg from the stalls, fresh from local farms! You’ll find an area guide with all of our recommendations on what to do and where to eat upon checking in. You’ll be spoilt for choice! Uber, DiDi, and Ola all operate in the area. We are less than 20 minutes drive away from the domestic airport. There is free street parking but it does get busier on weekends (everyone wants to be at the beach!) You can walk to Rockdale station within 30 minutes to take a train to the city or catch a bus from just outside the apartment. Buses run down South, there is also a bus connection to the Eastern Suburbs and the city. the train as is your fastest connection to the city as it doesn’t get stuck in traffic.
