We're a smoke free venue inside and out. The property has almost 180 degree views of Geographe Bay. During the summer months, there is a very safe beach 80 metres in front of the house and it's a great spot for all water activities. Dolphins regularly visit and, in season, Humpback, Southern Right and, occasionally, Minke & Blue whales, can be seen. The property itself is a very spacious home with renovations and upgrades having been recently completed. Small group Yoga Retreats have been hosted here as well, with guests utilising the shared space. We cannot accommodate pets because of the resident chickens and a variety of wildlife, such as protected, and threatened, Ring-Tail possums and Southern Brown Bandicoots. This property is one of two. I live in the other and manage the rental property. Your space, however, is completely separate, with your own garage, entry etc. Interaction with me is entirely up to you but if you're staying for a week, I might have to pop in from time to time - when it suits you - to water the plants! Please note: whilst the property can accommodate up to 6 guests in 3 bedrooms, only rooms and ensuite bathrooms that have been reserved and paid for are accessible during guests’ stay. I'm available in person, or via phone if you have any queries at all. This really is a nature-based environment. It's 20-30 minutes drive from any major town, though there is the small town of Capel nearby which has a butcher, bakery and a good supermarket. Capel Vale Winery is a 5 minute drive away for lovely morning or afternoon teas, or a delicious Tapas lunch, complemented by their beautiful wines. Peppy Beach has great places to walk to: north to the river, along the beautiful white beaches - literally for miles and miles - or in the Tuart forest, unique to SW WA, where you might be lucky to spy a kangaroo or two! In short, Peppy Beach is an introverts' heaven and a pretty special place for everyone else too! Own vehicle is required. Peppermint Grove Beach is a beautiful, relatively isolated coastal "gem" on the south west coast of Western Australia. There is, however, no public transport in and out of this peaceful beachside hamlet so you will need your own vehicle.
