Three Stanley Avenue Guest House
Our house is a Victorian farmhouse on a quiet side street, an easy walk to town w/ shops & restaurants. There are 6 rooms, (max.3 to a room)3 w/private baths, 3 w/shared baths. Each has a coffee pot & toaster. Mini fridge, microwave, & tea pot in entryway. Within a mile are restaurants with breakfast, lunch or dinner. Large porch has rocking chairs. Our area is known for hiking, biking, nordic & alpine skiing. Sugarloaf Mtn is 17 miles away with all of that, plus a golf course & zip lines. The six rooms in our guesthouse are all different - Two rooms have full size beds, two have a queen, one has a king, and one has a full bed & a twin bed. None of the rooms have TV's, but all have wi-fi. Some rooms even have stained glass windows. (There is a 3 person maximum to each room) Our large front porch with rocking chairs is the perfect spot to relax with a book (Website hidden by Airbnb) None of our rooms have a kitchen, but they do all have a coffee pot & toaster. We also have put a mini fridge in the front hall as well as a microwave. All rooms are completely made up with fresh sheets & towels. We provide coffee, tea, half & half, OJ, & english muffins for a light breakfast. The property has large lawns surrounding it, and is a short walk to the Carrabassett River for a cooling dip in the water. You can reach town by a short walk to shops and restaurants. Parking is available off the street right at the guesthouse in our safe neighborhood. This a very rural area and we are lucky to never have been bothered by vandalism!! My husband & I live in a separate house next door. We are available by telephone and happy to help with information about the area. We are happily located in a quiet neighborhood made up of beautiful Victorian homes, giving you a taste of small town New England . You are no more than a five minute walk to Kingfield's restaurants, shops, grocery store and two convenience stores.
