The room has tea & coffee facilities, free wifi, and a great view. Hursey is a small hamlet on a quiet lane just outside Broadwindsor, but within walking distance of the local pub. I am a garden designer & I will be here to greet you and to provide a continental breakfast for you in the morning. Large private bedroom with two single beds. Beautiful countryside view. Towels, toiletries, shampoo, hair dryer, kettle with coffee and tea facilities in your room. Free parking available on private drive. We will leave you in peace, but are always at the property or available on the phone for questions etc. We are walking distance to the village shop, local pub, and Redlands Yard ( (Website hidden by Airbnb) with various shops including an amazing bakery, also the Straddle Stones Restaurant with too many cakes to choose from. The White Lion pub in the village square and a large selection of other pubs within easy driving distance serving good food and beer. We are surrounded by wonderful walking country side with many walks from our house, including Lewesdon Hill and Pilsdon Pen, also great bike rides. By car, we are within 20 minutes of the many beaches on the Jurassic coast. Symonsbury is a place not to be missed, again a lovely place to eat or just to have a coffee with shops to explore afterwards. Unless you are a keen walker or walking the Wessex Ridgeway etc., a car or bike is essential, particularly to get to the coast etc., but there is a bus into Beaminster, Bridport and Crewkerne and a local taxi service. We are within easy walking distance of Broadwindsor with its pub, a little local shop run by the residents of Broadwindsor and Redlands Yard with its cafe and shops. Free use of the WiFi is included. The room is on the first floor, up a straight flight of stairs, at the back of the house overlooking the garden.
