The Cozy Cove Cabin

Come experience Sebec Lake life! Enjoy all Maine has to offer at the Cozy Cove Cabin. We offer a private Cabin with a large amount of outdoor space for you and your group to enjoy during any season. We are a short 15 minute drive to multiple grocery stores, restaurants and other amenities. We are 45 minutes from Bangor international airport. Kitchen: The cabin is fully equipped with a kitchen that is stocked with all the essentials to cook including pots, pans, and serving equipment. There is a coffee and tea bar for you morning wake up as well. Our water is from a well and is safe to drink. Bathroom: The bathroom is equipped with a stand up shower and sink as well as a fully flushable toilet. There are towels provided and extras in the closet in the corner of the bathroom. Living Space: A futon that folds down to a full sized bed and a recliner make up this space. There is a smart television provided that is hooked up to WiFi for your television watching wishes. We do not have a satellite or cable service however you can stream television (Netflix is provided). Bedroom 1: offers a Queen bed with a dresser/night stand. Bedroom 2: bedroom two comes with a set of twin bunk beds as well as a futon that folds out to a double bed. Extra bedding and blankets can be found in the closet in the living room. The cabin can comfortably seat 6 people at the dinner table. The Deck: There is a propane grill on the back deck for your use. We ask that you make sure to turn off the propane after each use. We also provide a patio table with 4 chairs for eating out on the deck. Outside: In front of the cabin is a fire pit with plenty of wood for your group to sit around the campfire. Please do not leave fires unattended. Waterfront: We have a small waterfront area with a dock for you to enjoy the lake. Feel free to bring your boat or jet ski as there are places to dock these toys! There is a lock box for your convenience. If you need assistance please let us know and we will be happy to help! There is laundry with cold water only located in the garage. Please let us know if you will be utilizing this and we will make sure you have a key to the garage. (Only available April 15th to November 15). We are available to our guests if you need anything. We can be reached through Airbnb, or feel free when you are staying at the cabin to stop by if you have questions or want to say a friendly hello. Sebec lake life is the best! We enjoy all the nature around. If you want to see eagles (golden and bald) just look out your back door, if you want to see a beaver dam just paddle up the stream. There is a small island just a bit off shore that our kids have always loved adventuring on. Close by (within 15 minutes drive) Bear Point Marina- Offers brick oven pizza and other delish dishes. Most Saturday nights offer some form of music. Either access by driving about 10 minutes or kayak or canoe for a little quicker route. Bissell Brothers Brewing- a brew pub for the microbrew that has become very popular among locals and visitors a like. Wildwoods located on the ATV trail in Brownville. Offers full service bar and meals. Sebec Country Store- for breakfast and lunch and any last minute needs. Chew 62, Moon Hing, Bears Den, Pats Pizza, Mission Impizzable, Subway, McDonald’s all places to pick up a bite to eat in Dover Foxcroft. Groceries close by are located in either Dover-Foxcroft or Milo. Both about 15 minutes away. Some will even steam your lobster for you if you choose to have lobster on your vacation ! This is a remote location with very little traffic. If you love mountain biking you will be in your glory. We recommend you have at least 1 motorized vehicle to get places. We are a little over a mile from a tarred road. Cell phone reception is pretty slim in this area there are few carriers that work however we do have WiFi if your phone has WiFi calling capability that is the best way to be able to make calls. During the summer and fall we have kayaks, canoes, and a stand up paddle board for your use. If you would like to use them please let us know sizes for your party so we can make sure we have adequate life jackets. There is also a dock for your use and boat launch about a mile from the cabin. The ATV and snowmobile trail both go right by the cabin to get you to many outdoor adventures. There is plenty of parking for your vehicles and trailer(s).
