Overstone Lakes Luxury Static Caravan

A luxurious 2 bedroom caravan (sleeps 6) on a peaceful site that has been awarded a Gold Banner David Bellamy Conservation Award. Situated near Sywell, in the rural Northamptonshire countryside, Overstone Lakes is an ideal getaway location for all the family. You will be greeted by the picturesque surroundings of the park and there is also an excellent selection of lakeside walks. PLEASE NOTE DUE TO COVID 19 THE POOL, FISHING, ON-SITE BAR REMAIN CLOSED TO VISITING GUESTS. PUB NEXT DOOR IS OPEN. The contemporary luxurious caravan is fully fitted with a kitchen, living room and dining area, with comfy beds to rest in after spending the day exploring. Pots, pans and plates along with cutlery and washing materials can be found within the caravan. A small selection of cereals along with tea, coffee and fresh milk are provided on arrival. A coal BBQ is provided for use during your stay and coals and firefighters are available in the on-site shop. Please note due to COVID 19, we require guests to bring their own bedding, linen and towels during this time. PLEASE NOTE DUE TO COVID 19 THE POOL, FISHING AND BAR ARE STILL CLOSED TO ALL VISITING GUESTS. THERE IS A PUB NEXT DOOR TO THE SITE AND CAN BE ACCESSED THROUGH A GATE. All areas in the caravan are for guest use. Please note there are several steps that need to be climbed to access the caravan and the sliding doors have a notable drop and aren’t to be used for access to the exterior. There is a double sofa bed in the living room. Please note, the site does not allow sign written vans on any property after 9pm at night. We are available on our mobile throughout the day. There is onsite 24 security and management should you require anything immediate. The superb range of onsite facilities includes a well-stocked general store, a lakeside clubhouse, and a luxury hair salon. Activity wise there is an outdoor heated pool for the summer months, children's play area, two freshwater lakes for coarse fishing, bowling green and a nine hole putting green suited for all. Live entertainment can be found on occasional nights throughout the week/weekend with some exercise classes offered during the day. Well behaved pets are welcome on site. Nearest train stations at Northampton or Wellingborough, both a short taxi ride away. The area is very well stocked with beautiful country parks and reservoirs offering beautiful walks and family activities. Sywell Aerodrome, one of the best general aerodromes in the UK is very close by, offering air shows and plane and car events throughout the year, as well as private flying lessons and a wonderful museum. Close by are some lovely garden centres like Beckworth Emporium offering a specialist food hall and eatery area. The site charges a small fee for the swimming pool and other leisure usage. Passes are available at reception for fishing (£10 a day or £50 for seven days per person) and swimming (£5 a day or £25 for seven days per person although under 12’s go free when accompanied by a paying adult); full details are available in your welcome arrival pack.
