Our rural location benefits from being on the Exe Estuary, you can sit in the field behind the farmhouse and take in the magnificent views across the estuary to Starcross and beyond. The sunsets over the estuary can be truly amazing and very romantic. Just imaging on a warm summers evening sitting watching the sun go down. Exmouth train station is 15 mins walk away with trains every 30 mins into Exeter, so why not leave the car and enjoy the scenery on the 30 min journey in to Devon's county town where after shopping at John Lewis or House of Fraser you can enjoy lunch or dinner in the Cathedral quarter at one of the many eateries including Michael Cains aBode Exeter. The farm is set on the Exe Estuary trail which is ideally located 25 mins from Exmouth Beach where you can either enjoy the many water sports on offer or just relax in the sun. The village of Lympstone is only 2km along the trail and has several wonderful friendly pubs that serve great food and real ales. Exmouth has many fantastic restaurants where you can enjoy the wonderful local seafood, my favorite is Les Saveurs (booking always required) The Anchor Inn at Cockwood is renowned for it's seafood so if you fancy doing something a little different why not catch the river ferry from Exmouth quay across the estuary to Cockwood. Don't forget to book your return!
