Cabanau Bach- A cosy cabin stay in the Welsh hills

Luxury cabin situated in the heart of the South Wales Valleys. Our cabin comes equipped with fitted main electrics and running water, a kitchenette area, and separate wash facilities. We have onsite parking and outdoor bike storage. Enjoy all the creature comforts of home, whilst experiencing the joy of being in the countryside. Please be aware that is a working farm so it can be uneven under foot. The cabin is a walk away from the parking area, so please keep this in mind before you book. We have a wood burner for the chillier days of your stay. The patio doors open up onto the decking area where you can sit back and enjoy the tranquil views, rolling mountain scenes, and be surrounded by the best that nature has to offer. In the evenings, sit under the stars and enjoy the fire pit! The site is a short walk from the parking area, so please keep this in mind if there is anyone with accessibility concerns in your party. Guests have full access to the cabin and the immediate area surrounding area. Guests are not able to access the rest of the farm outside of the designated footpaths due to live stock. Our cabin is self-contained and the only accommodation on the site. Please note that this is self check in only. The site is based on a farm, so you have the luxury of your privacy, but still safe of the knowledge that there are also people close if you need them. Guests will also be able to contact us should they need to. There is access to miles and miles of mountain bike trails and hikes right on our doorstep. The site is central to many heritage sites (including Caerphilly Castle!), close to the city life of Cardiff and only a short car drive to the Welsh coast. For the explorers, we are only 45 mins away from the beautiful Brecon Beacons! We are accessible by car/bike and are not near any public transport links The paths on the site are uneven underfoot. We encourage guests to bring suitable footwear and to take care whilst at the cabin. The seats drop down to beds, we will add some pictures of the beds set up. The campsite isn’t entirely enclosed and there is a pond about 100 yards from it. It is safe for children, but children still need to be supervised. We are still on a farm, so there is livestock around, but ask that guests keep away. First basket of logs is included in the stay, but there is a fee following that. For full transparency, there is a pylon to the rear of the cabin the field behind. This is shut away from the site and doesn’t interfere with any of the views of area or the environment.
