Period house near Cardiff, Brecon, Swansea

100 year old period house nestling in the Welsh valleys in an elevated position overlooking the valley. The house borders parkland and forestry for walking and cycling. The Brecon Beacons is just (30 mins), Bike Park Wales (15 mins), Cardiff (45 mins) and Swansea (50 mins). The house is accessible off the A470 just 25 mins north of Cardiff. The house is semi-detached with patio and garden at front. Parking on the road nearby is available. Direct rail link from Cardiff. The house is a little quirky and interesting with nice outside space, patios and garden. It is filled with books, art and things I have collected on my travels. I have 1 room listed but there is a maximum of 3 bedrooms ( maximum of 6 guests). Please enquire for more than 1 room. Garden Kitchen Bathroom Lounge Dining Room Library Happy to chat, socialise and give local knowledge of area. I am usually close by. I speak French, Spanish some German and Italian. Happy to make breakfast on weekend for an additional small fee per person if I am available. Basics will be available any day, e.g. tea, coffee, cereal, milk and bread. Mountain Ash is where I grew up and having lived overseas and in Cardiff for many years, I am back in a house I always liked as a child. It is a former mining town that is well placed for visiting local tourist attractions such as Cardiff City, Swansea, The Brecon Beacons and Bike Park Wales. Regular hourly train service to Cardiff and bus links up and down the valley. There is parking near the house on the road. If arriving at Cardiff airport , guests need to get into the city centre and then catch the train to Mountain Ash. If coming from London again guests need to get to Cardiff and then either take the train or if coming by car, take the A470 north from Cardiff to Mountain Ash. The house is my personal space shared with 2 beautiful cats. The cats will be at the house the house during your stay unless you specifically request them to be removed or are allergic. I will probably not be at home only to meet and greet you and feed the cats but I will be nearby for anything you need.
