1700 sq ft Private Suite in Oconee County with quick and easy access to UGA's Sanford Stadium. Be “away from it all” in this quiet country setting but close to everything. Go out and check out Downtown Watkinsville or Butlers Crossing area, the new Epps Bridge Centre closeby, or hit downtown Athens, only 17 minutes away. If it's not raining, enjoy a fire on the patio (bring stuff for s'morz)!! Private high-ceiling walkout basement with a large living area with a separate dining area, 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, plus a rec room. Enjoy some ping-pong and darts in the rec room next to the den, plus a kid play corner with Legos, Lincoln logs and bean bag chairs. The Den has a 55” Roku TV for streaming and comfortable seating for everyone. Enjoy some complementary cold sodas, water and snacks. In the winter, enjoy a fire with the gas logs fireplace (let host know if you'd like to use it and they'll prepare for that). Guests have full private access to the basement and back patio. Keypad lock allows keyless access into private entry. Only registered guests are allowed on property. There are no parties allowed or loud music. Please register all guests you have in your group when making your reservation. (Infants can be added later). We live on the main floor with a locked door separating the 2 floors. We will do all we can to make your stay as private, quiet and relaxing as possible. We will usually be available so let us know if you have any questions or need anything while you’re here. Neighborhood has "away from it all" feeling but we're close to EVERYTHING! Starbucks, Jittery Joe's and many eateries, shopping and University Cinema are 5 minutes away. Less than 20 minutes to UGA and downtown Athens. Short drive to Georgia Botanical Gardens, downtown Watkinsville, and area high schools and parks (OVP has a great jogging trail and tennis facilities!). Only 1.25 miles from QT, Springhill Suites, and less than a mile to Zaxby’s Hdq, University Parkway Offices and Tech. Park, and "The Exchange" office complexes. Easy access to all area highways. Shopping and restaurants within 5 minutes. Serviced by Uber/Lyft. If you want to ride your bike or walk in the area, there's a bike lane and sidewalks with landscaping along the newly widened 3.5 miles of Mars Hill Road, which is about 1.25 miles from us. Access to the space is NOT handicapped accessible. There’s no access to a full kitchen. but there is a full-size fridge/freezer, microwave and coffee maker in the dining area with some drinks and snacks provided. Note to those who want to watch sports or other cable programs on TV: There is no traditional cable TV cable service. You can access most channels and sports programs through your own cable account if they aren’t free inside one of the TV’s apps. Depending on the event, some sports programs could be accessed on your laptop/tablet and you can hook it to the HDMI cable attached to the TV. (You will need your own HDMI adapter for attaching to a laptop or tablet if it doesn’t have an HDMI port). The TV supports Apple Airplay. There are no TV’s in the bedrooms.
