Step back in time and relax a little in this cosy and quirky town house, refurbished, re-decorated and furnished for the new season. Its a home from home with everything you need for a short or long stay. A fully equipped kitchen with washing machine and tumble dryer, gas hob, electric oven, toaster microwave etc. Warm and cosy with a new central heating system, shower and bath. The holiday cottage has a large secluded fenced in dog and child friendly garden. Excellent local country walks. BEDS. These are set as one double and two singles. If you need the singles changed into a double 48 HOURS NOTICE is needed to prepare pillows, sheets, duvets etc. SAME if you need the sofa as a bed. Freesat TV. toaster, microwave, hairdryer, iron etc, everything you would need to have a happy stay. Bring your old cd's, dvd's, cassette mix tapes and VHS video tapes, or just enjoy the ones here! There is superfast fibre wi-fi included. The garden is lovely, fairly wild and work in progress, it is a secluded place to sit out and relax in the evening. There is a fire pit chairs and a table. Everywhere! its a whole house and garden to yourself. The house is thoroughly cleaned and aired to the Airbnb covid compliant standard between each guests visit. BEDS. A key code is given to you before you arrive, no lost keys, all guests can use the number and you can turn up when you like. We live in Ottery st Mary so if you need us we shouldn't be far away. A short stroll to fantastic dog friendly walks by the river, you may spot a beaver or an otter, certainly an egret, swans, kingfishers, kestrel, ducks and even the occasional barn owl. Sainsburys five minutes walk away. 4 pubs! 3 serve great food, a chippy, two Indian restaurants/takeaways, a Chinese takeaway. Lovely local shops and cafes. 20mins drive to Sidmouth and Exeter. Jurassic coast and Blackdown Hills just a short drive away. Bus stops nearby. Bus number 4 & 4a travel through Ottery. Exeter Airport 10 miles away. We love dogs and all pets but not everyone does so please restrict pets to DOWNSTAIRS ONLY. No pets on furniture please, bring your pets own bed. If your pet is likely to follow you upstairs keep the stairway door closed. (This rule does not apply to goldfish!) Under 2 years old and infants are welcome but there are no stairgates, cots, high chairs etc. Please be aware of health and safety of your children the house is old and the garden may have sharp things in it.
