Cool, quiet, clean and breezy mountain air for a serene and relaxing private stay away from the city. The home is located on the hillside of Mount San Cristobal with stone stairs to top for an unobstructed view of San Pablo City, Mount Makiling and Volcanic Field. There is a coffee shop for guests and nearby restaurant for home delivery but the equipped kitchen lets you do home cooking. Local well-known tourist spots include Bato Springs and National Shrine of Our Lady of Sorrows in Dolores. The place is surrounded by rambutan and lanzones trees with riprap terraces to lush native trees including Tibig, Molave, Kamagong, Alim and Banaba and a scenic view of the Volcanic Fields of Calauan and Mt. Makiling while on top. Adding to the provincial feel is the bamboo hut for dining and grilling your favorite steak or seafood, a coffee shop to relax in front of the fish pond with the sound of splashing water and a heated jacuzzi to soothe those muscles after climbing the 100-step stone stairs to the top. The place is surrounded by large acreage properties so neighbors are far apart. The area is considered agricultural with plenty of fruit bearing trees like rambutan, lanzones, coconut and dragon fruit. There is a natural spring pool just outside the property that is accessible. Some properties are even inhabited only by caretakers. Best to get in and out by car. If by public transport, tricycles can be called in to take guests to the main road where they can catch jeepney to San Pablo City proper or to Dolores, Quezon. The same ticycles can take you to local tourist spots and places of interest.
