Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, please don't bring visitors back to the house. Our spacious cozy house lies in a tranquil enviorment in Pak Kok Village on Lamma Island. It is ideal for people looking for a natural and relaxing retreat from hussle of the city. There are rarely tourists in Pak Kok and no restaurants here. You can walk (30 minutes) or take ferry ( 5 minutes) to the main village Yung Shue Wan where you can find restaurants and shops. Pak Kok Village rarely has tourists and has no restaurants. You can find restaurants in the main village Yung Shue Wan. This is a private house. Our three floor house has a beautiful private garden (children love our trampoline) and a roof with a 360 degree view of sea and mountains. Each floor is 70 square metres. Guests will stay on the second floor, with a separate staircase access. The main bedroom has a private bathroom and a balcony. A single bedroom is an optional booking. ATTENTION: Our place is $700/night with one master bedroom. If you want to use the second bedroom as an option, please choose three people to stay. It is extra $100/night. Fully equipped with Chinese and Western kitchen includes an oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine, ample cookware and utensils. There are no TV channels but Netflix. Feel free to use our roof and the garden. We are a Chinese and British family loving outdoor activies. We can help you find some great hiking/running/cycling trails from the house. There is also a small beach nearby you can swim. Hope you will have enjoyable and relaxing time in our little jungle. There is a store in the village (a small grocery store) for some basic items such as drinks and snacks. If you want to cook in the kitchen, please buy ingredients in town. There are cooking oil, salt, sugar and soy sauce in the kitchen. You can also either have a 30-minute walk or a 5-minute ferry ride to Yung Shue Wan for buying simple ingredients or having meal in the restaurant. It is normally open at 4pm. Please check the timetable when you are walking pass. There are two ways to come to our place. 1. A direct ferry from Aberdeen to Yung Shue Wan Lamma Island ( get off at the first stop for Pak Kok village). 25 min ferry journey and 5 min walking to our house 2. You can take the ferry from No.4 pier at Central to Yung Shu Wan then transfer to another ferry to Pak Kok village. 25 +5 min ferry journeys. If you are up for a short hike, you also can try the 30 minute walk from Yung Shu Wan to Pak Kok village (no need to do the ferry transfer). From our village there is a direct 25 minute ferry to Aberdeen in the Southern District, a great place to experience an old Hong Kong community. Hundreds of fishermen traditional seafarers lives here, which you can observe along the harbour front or in the fish market. It’s also a great place for a seafood banquet. Take the sampan across the harbour to the island of Ap Lei Chau for more local food choices and if you are not done with shopping yet there is a large outlet mall on the island. There is an MTR from Ap Lei Chau direct into Admiralty or you can use the regular bus service from Aberdeen to most major destinations around Hong Kong.
