Drive along a winding private road bordered by vineyards on one side and native bushland on the other past the Tamar Ridge Cellar Door to your apartment. Enter your apartment overlooking the Tamar Valley and discover panoramic views to the north over the vineyards to the Tamar River with rolling green hills beyond. Guest have access to the private road which leads off Waldhorn Drive. They can walk along the Tamar Ridge Winery's pathways, which wind past a small lake and vineyards. The Tamar Ridge Cellar Door has wine tasting and is open all year around apart from Christmas Day and Good Friday from 10:00am to 5:00pm daily serving tasty platters and wine. Rosevears is a well established wine growing area. There are wineries with other food and beverage outlets all along the West Tamar Highway. The center of Launceston is 20 minutes away via a very easy drive along the West Tamar Highway.
