Beautiful, spacious Art Deco bank residence in the heart of Toogoolawah. Perfectly situated opposite the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail & walking distance to pubs & cafes. Our beautiful Art Deco building was built originally as a bank in 1928. What was the manager’s residence now comprises 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (one of which is accessible). The front upper storey boasts beautiful mountain views. There are 4 bedrooms on this level and each bedroom has been decorated individually with quality mattresses and linens to enhance your comfort. There is a spacious lounge area with large smart tv for those who wish to relax with a tv show or movie. Amazon Prime and Netflix are complimentary. Downstairs is another lounge area which adjoins the kitchen as well as a further bedroom with double bed and accessible bathroom. The upstairs level is serviced by ducted reverse cycle air conditioning while downstairs there are individual units in both the lounge and bedroom. The Bank on Cressbrook manager’s residence is booked as a whole so all it’s areas are available. The parking areas at rear, as well as the front entry gate are for the exclusive use of guests. Self check-in is available anytime after 2pm and self check-out anytime before 10am. The entrance is illuminated with security lights Self check in is via a lock box. Keys to the property and clicker for the security gate will be enclosed. We can be reached anytime by mobile phone with any questions or concerns before or during a stay. As the building is situated in the main street of Toogoolawah amenities are only a short walk away. The supermarket, bottle shop, hotels and cafes are within a block or two from accommodation. The Brisbane Valley Rail Trail, a fantastic tourist destination, runs through Toogoolawah. Our accommodation is across the road from this wonderful attraction. This trail attracts walkers, cyclists and horse riders alike, and runs all the way from Ipswich to Yarraman. Toogoolawah also boasts a multi million dollar art gallery. Nearby is the Somerset dam, a water playground for power boating, fishing and swimming. With most shopping and culinary needs being close to the accommodation, travel on foot is easy. Travelling further afield may require a car or motorcycle. Cycling is, of course, enormously popular with the Rail Trail right on doorstep. There is ample off street parking for approximately 6 cars with a double carport that also has disability parking. There is a heavy duty bike rack which will hold 10 bikes and is lockable. For those who have E bikes there are 3 double power points at the bike rack for ease of recharge.
