A cozy 60 m², recently renovated, attic in the heart of the historic center of Mondovi. The apartment overlooks a lively square and it has a nice view over the mountains. If you stay here you'll be able to forget your car. You can walk through the main streets of the city center or reach Mondovì Piazza, the oldest part of the town located on a hill. If you prefer to wander around the surroundings of Mondovi, in less than half-hour-drive, you'll be able to reach the mountains or the Langa region. The apartment is located in the square in front of City Hall. We are in the historic center of Mondovi Breo, at the foot of the hill of Piazza. Watch out for the bakery just outside the apartment, it will probably tempt you with its delicacies. And for a good coffee you can pick just any of the bars located on the square. Beating heart of the city, this neighborhood offers many stores, cafés and restaurants where you can enjoy a good meal or a glass of wine. Near the apartment you will find many parking spots: the closest ones are pay parkings during the day but free at night and during the lunch break; a bit further but still within walking distance you can also find free parking. The district of Breo and Piazza (the two districts that constitute the historic center of Mondovi) are connected by a funicular. On the way up to Piazza, the hill, you'll be able to enjoy a breathtaking view over Mondovì and the Alps (all the way to Monviso). Piazza is also reachable with a nice walk along the old street that was used in the past. In case you need public transportation, close to the apartment you will find the city and intercity bus stop. The train station is reachable in 10-15 minutes walk (few minutes by car). The freeway exit of Mondovì is about 5 km away.
