Gorgeous 2 bedroom cottage in the Blue Mountains

Quaint 2 bedroom cottage in the picturesque Blue Mountains immersed in a pretty cottage garden. The property is located within short walking distance to the Terrace Falls track and stunning national park. A range of colourful native birds visit the garden of a morning which is a wonderful view to take in as you sit and drink your coffee on the front verandah. The space is newly built and is therefore pristine inside and out. We offer two decent sized bedrooms with one double bed and two singles. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher ( tablets supplied), oven and stove top. Whilst this is a self -catering stay, we offer our guests Lavazza ground coffee and Twinings Tea ( English Breakfast and a selection of herbal teas). You will also find a small carton of long-life milk in the fridge for your use should you wish to make tea or coffee upon your arrival. The property has reverse cycle air-conditioning to keep you warm in winter and cool in the summer months. There is a washing machine and clothesline should guest wish to clean items of clothing ( all washing discs, basket and pegs are supplied). There is no dryer, however, there are several laundrettes in the Blue Mnts should you require this service. In addition to free to air TV, there is a connection to an Amazon Firestick with a paid subscription to NETFLIX. The property is completely separate from my own. It is fenced and has its own private yard. I am conveniently located next door should you need anything, however, I try to allow my guests privacy and autonomy. Please note that I am not able to accomodate pets. You will need to provide your own beds, high chairs for infants and toddlers as I do not provide these. Please ensure you read the house rules and cancellation policy closely before booking. Please park on the grass area outside the front of the property. Generally the best way to get to the train station is to walk or call a taxi. We offer a simple lockbox option for the key pick-up and will generally give you peace and quiet unless we need to communicate important information to you. We are available via the Airbnb messaging application should you require and assistance before or during your stay. Surrounded by national park and only a 15 minute walk to the Terrace Falls track. The property is close to the popular tourist destinations of Katoomba and Leura- where you will find the famous Three Sisters rock formation and breathtaking views of the Grose Valley. Further afield you can take a day trip to Mount Wilson, Hartley and Jenolan Caves. The best option for travelling around the Blue Mountains is by car. Hazelbrook Station is a 30 minute walk from the property with trains leaving hourly (check the NSW Transport website for exact times). For guests wanting to ride mountain bikes there are numerous tracks in the area including the popular Woodford to Glenbrook track. As the property is in a valley you may find that mobile phone coverage is dicey (unless you are with Telstra). You will have access to WIFI which should help to mitigate this issue. During the warmer months it is a good idea to download the RFS ( Royal Fire Service) app as the area backs onto national park, and is sometimes subject to bushfires. This app will keep you abreast of any bushfire alerts as they happen. In addition to this, guest need to be aware that any kind of camp fire or outdoor cooking is prohibited. Please refrain from doing this in any capacity, as it is illegal.
