Hay festival is also close enough to use this gorgeous cottage as a base.Dogs welcome by prior arrangement - only one dog per booking Woodcutters Cottage is situated between Ross-on-Wye and Hereford and is in the centre of Cider producing country. This very private and cosy cottage makes an ideal base to explore the area, or as an ideal stop on the Wye Valley Walk which runs along the edge of our land. The cottage is fully equipped and self-contained with all the comforts of home. It is self-catering and we provide a welcome breakfast basket of bread, bacon and eggs for you to prepare your own breakfast. Westons Cider is only a few miles away and tours can be booked so you can see how our delicious local cider is produced. Canoeing on the Wye River is easy to organise during the Summer and is a peaceful way to spend a day enjoying the countryside. We are easy to get to with the M50 only a few miles away. You will have access to your own cottage and are welcome to enjoy the gardens. We live just across the yard so there's almost always someone on hand to answer any questions. The surrounding countryside is beautiful, on the doorstep is the Wye Valley Walk. Local market towns of Ledbury and Ross-on-Wye are within easy reach - and the Malvern Hills, Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons are a short drive away.
